Poultry Farming (Layers) is an intensive physical training program provides participants with a full practical foundation in layers poultry farming, specifically focused on maximizing commercial egg production. Through hands-on work with the flock, practical demonstrations, and structured lessons, learners will gain the skills needed to establish and manage a profitable, health-conscious poultry enterprise.

Modules Covered:

• Nursery Management (Chick Rearing): Brooding management, vaccination schedules, and chick health protocols.

• Integrated Pest Management (IPM): Biosecurity protocols and effective control of external parasites and common poultry pests.

• Nutrient Management (Feed Formulation): Understanding layer nutrition, feed rationing, and efficient conversion ratios for egg production.

• Poultry Management: Housing design, environmental controls, and maintaining optimal flock health for peak laying cycles.

• Egg Handling & Grading: Proper collection, washing, grading, and storage techniques to maintain market quality.

• Market & Cost Planning: Pricing strategies, sales channel development, and detailed record-keeping for profitability analysis.
