The founder kept meeting young people, students, early-stage entrepreneurs, and career switchers who were interested in agriculture but stuck. Some had watched videos online but had no structure. Some wanted practical training but did not know the farms, processors, or agribusiness owners who could teach them. Some wanted to work in agriculture but had no role-based certificate or portfolio that showed what they could do.
At the same time, many agribusiness owners had practical knowledge, facilities, and real experience, but no simple way to package that knowledge into training opportunities for learners.

Lucy Chioma Aniagolu
Founder & CEO, Agrodemy Technologies
Lucy Chioma Aniagolu founded Agrodemy after seeing a repeated gap across Africa’s agriculture sector: young people wanted to build careers and businesses in agriculture, but many could not access practical learning, real industry exposure, clear training pathways, or career-focused support.
Her work sits at the intersection of agriculture, technology, learning design, youth empowerment, and workforce development. Through Agrodemy, she is building an ecosystem that helps people learn online, train physically with real agribusinesses, get certified, and grow into meaningful roles across agriculture.
