Unfortunately, access to quality agricultural training is still limited for many people across Africa. Physical training is often expensive, concentrated in major cities, or difficult to access. Even when online learning is available, many programmes focus heavily on theory without helping learners prepare for real careers.

Making Quality Training More Accessible
One of the biggest barriers to professional development is affordability. Many talented individuals simply cannot afford career-focused training, even though they are highly motivated to learn.
To help reduce this barrier, Agrodemy Technologies launched the Agrodemy Scholarship Programme 2026, a workforce development initiative designed to make professional agribusiness education more accessible across Africa. The programme supports learners through two scholarship pathways: the Agro Digital Officer Certification Scholarship and the Career Agribusiness Certification Scholarship. Rather than providing completely free access, selected beneficiaries contribute a modest commitment fee, which helps encourage active participation and supports programme administration.
